The Jewish Business Network works hard to provide support in three distinct areas.
A few weeks at summer camp can be immeasurably life-enhancing for a child.Participation in an exciting range of sports,
trips and group activities can lead to new friendships, increased confidence, individual growth and lifelong memories. The Jewish Business Network has partnered with Child Protective Services to provide underprivileged children with this enriching experience.
Please join us in creating this opportunity for children in foster care as well as for under served children in our community.
The ‘Good Family’ Orphanage:
The Good Family Orphanage in Odessa, Ukraine gives hope to over 50 children who strive to rebuild their broken past. Creating a community to house, protect, and support children is a monumental undertaking. To assist, the JBN strives to finance the orphanage’s informal activities – culture and leisure time which includes various classes, private tutoring, and seasonal trips. By doing so we grant the children with a window of opportunities to express themselves thus enriching their lives and planting a seed of hope in their hearts for a better future.
Items Funded by the JBN:
2007 -Extra Curricular Activities (including sports and art)
2008 -Holiday gifts for individual children (3 times a year)
2009 -Oral and facial surgery for Nela Tova
2010 -University Scholarship for graduating high school
2011 -Recreational room in the new dormitory
2012- Multi-purpose game room
2013 -Dental care

The Family Fund:
The JBN provides financial support to families in need. We provide grocery gift cards for holiday meals such as the Passover Seder and the Rosh Hashanah Dinner. We also provide two yearly clothing gift cards to children who need holiday, winter and summer clothes. If a family is in financial crisis, we provide temporary financial relief.
It is our hope that you will partner with us in co-sponsoring this event, thus creating hope in the lives of children and families in our local community as well as our friends abroad. Your generous participation, helps build a strong, nurturing community that provides stability and structure to Clark County families and the children of the Good Family Orphanage.
